Jason Lewis, MD
Oculoplastic Clinical Fellow
Dr. Jason Lewis graduated from University of California, San Diego with a B.S. in both Animal Physiology & Neuroscience and Psychology. Upon graduation from UCSD, he worked in the Molecular and Integrative Neuroscience Department at The Scripps Research Institute focusing on preclinical addiction research. He then transitioned to the Portland Veterans Affairs Hospital and Oregon Health and Science University where he coordinated and conducted various preclinical and clinical research studies in the fields of addiction, mental health, and Vascular Surgery. He was awarded the Army Health Professions Scholarship to attend medical school and is currently an Active Duty Army Officer. He graduated medical school from Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences with honors. He then completed a General Surgery Internship at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA and then completed Ophthalmology Residency at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Lewis was recently awarded the Joint Service Achievement Medal for his accomplishments during residency.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Lewis enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and son. He prefers to spend time outdoors hiking, camping, and climbing as well as working on his motorcycle and playing hockey.
